What is the minimum age for woodland archery?

The minimum age for woodland archery at NPF Bassetts Pole is 8 years old.

What do I need to wear for woodland archery?

Players should wear their own comfortable clothing with suitable outdoor footwear such as trainers, walking boots etc.

Do we need any archery experience?

No - our instructors will give full tuition and training. The Olympic style woodland archery bows provided are very easy to use. We have bows to suit both right-handed and left-handed participants.

What if it rains on the day?

Our archery range has covered sections for archers to stand and shoot, protecting you from the elements!

Do you provide all the equipment?

All equipment needed for your archery experience is included - Olympic style bow (available in both left and right handed versions), archery arm guard, arrows, and targets.

I'm left handed, can I still take part in archery at NPF?

Yes! We supply both left and right handed bows.

What is 3d archery?

3D archery uses life size foam targets, vs the standard paper targets. Our Woodland Archery experience includes both 3d and paper targets!

Can I book woodland archery with other activities?

Yes! If you book any 2 activities you get £5 off per person. Book any 3, get £10 off per person. Book 4, get £15 off per person, etc!
