If you are looking for unusual things to do in the West Midlands for your corporate days out we offer an affordable taste of Bear Grylls’s style survival experiences and adventures at our Birmingham bushcraft centre. You have the options of a full-day survival course for a company away day, or a 2 or 4-hour session at our beautiful 200-acre ancient woodland venue.

After experiencing our survival training, each group member will discover their true character and complete team-building exercises like “How to Survive a Plane Crash”. Whether you work with someone who is a secret doomsday prepper or a true city slicker, the question remains…can you survive the wild woods as a team?

NPF Birmingham’s bushcraft camp is located in a 200-acre woodland setting. After a visit by the British Bushcraft School’s founder Dale Collet, our site was given the honour of being named his “home base”. NPF Bassetts Pole bushcraft training and survival courses are taught by experienced instructors that will help you on your journey. With our training, team members tackle problems such as:

• No Food…identify all kinds of edibles found in nature when you are stranded.
• No Shelter…solve how to put a roof over your head with the woods, leaves and ground around you.
• No compass….learn tracking methods and natural navigation techniques to help you trace back your route.
• No clue……increase your survival preparation by learning about bushcraft equipment, rope cording, and how to build a dry fire.
