The minimum age for Adult Paintball at NPF is 10 years, and 8 years for junior paintball. We would recommend that players aged 8 - 13yrs who may not have played paintball before first experience the game via our junior paintball, mini paintball or low impact paintball paintballing sessions.
Not as much as you might think - Don't allow fear to stop you trying paintball! We constantly upgrade our kit and equipment to give you the best experience possible. If you're particularly nervous - why not try a low impact paintball session first?
We recommend casual, loose, comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. You will be given an all-in-one combat coverall to wear, and standard issue paintball equipment. Recommended footwear would be outdoor style boots, walking boots or old trainers.
Of course! Groups are welcome to dress up, and it is popular with stags, hens, and birthday groups. Costumes must allow for the use of our protective safety equipment.
Paintballs at NPF are water soluble and non toxic, and can be removed from clothing with a normal wash cycle. We recommend not wearing best clothing, and bringing a change of clothes with you, to keep your cars clean.
Full power adult paintball has a slightly higher impact than airsoft. To make paintball as enjoyable as possible, we provide coveralls with padded collars, masks with protection at the top of the head, and body armour on request. We ensure all guns are tested regularly to ensure comfortable levels of power. We also provide low impact paintball, for a further reduced "hit".
This does vary person to person, and depends on the map and game you are playing. During a 2 hour session, the average use would be approximately 300 paintballs per player. During a half day, the average paintball use would be around 500 paintballs per player, and a full day would use around 700 paintballs per player.
We provide mixed paintball games with no minimum group size. We also provide private games, which require a minimum of 10 players. We have private and mixed games available for both adults and junior players.
Choose from a 2 hour game, a half day morning or afternoon session, or a full days play. Junior or family groups may be interested in our Kids Mini Paintball activity or Gelball, which lasts for one hour.
If the paintball bounces off without bursting, carry on! If it bursts - most of our fast-moving paintball games use respawn rules, so you're never out of the action for more than a few minutes.
Our all-inclusive packages include everything you need for an awesome day out, with no hidden costs. 16s and over can play from £34.50 per player including all kit, private site staff and paintballs, and under 16s have packages available from just £25 per player.
We do not permit players to bring paintballs from any other source into NPF. We sell quality, environmentally friendly paintballs at competitive prices. Inferior quality paintballs cause problems with paintball kit and will spoil your experience. Any person caught using "contraband" paintballs risks being ejected from games. No credits or refunds will be given.

Penny Beddows - It was my sons 13th birthday and we were looking for a covid safe venue for 9 of his friends. I NPF felt extremely covid safe they had hand sanitizers at all stations the children were in their own section . The head gear had been cleaned and kept in a plastic bag for 72 hours after they had been cleaned . The paint balling is an outside activity ...they were split into two teams and had 500 paint balls. The instructor explained how to use the paintball markers safely and stayed with them the whole time. The boys/ girl thoroughly enjoyed the experience,some of the children had not done it before and couldn't wait to do it again!. Every child received a certificate,the birthday child received a medal and the best performer which was the only girl in the teams received one too .I would highly recommend NPF Bassetts Pole if your celebrating your child's birthday or looking for an activity . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fantastic fun for family, friends and work colleagues. For first timers, try the low impact paintballing. If you can, wear contacts if you wear specs. Always have another clean change of footwear. Try and take your gloves; there are no closed indoor areas if you are not participating - make sure you have appropriate outdoor wear. Don't forget to take a bag for muddy footwear. glynevans435 - We booked the SWAT team as part of a stag do and had an excellent time. At £50 per head for hours of adrenaline induced fun, all balls included, professional chilled out and friendly instructors and a stronghold to play havoc around, I would totally recommend this to anyone who is considering doing this for a stag. There's also the option to buy paint grenades, smoke and light flares if you so wish, but make sure to stock up before you're driven out to the stronghold.
With eleven of us, for the games we were split into two groups of four and one group of three. When two teams were pitched against one another, the team of three borrowed a member from the team sitting out. It was great fun either defending the embassy, staging an offensive or collecting items that have been placed in the maze like arena. It's good as well because the instructors referee the games on the walkway above the stronghold, so when you've been hit they can automatically clock whether you're "dead" or alternatively need to leave the arena, dust yourself off and return, depending on which game you're playing
You'll need to make sure you've got taxis booked to get there, and there's also a pub if you head out to the main road, if you're after a post game pint or food or just to kill some time. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Debbie P - Went here for a birthday party of 4 children on one of their junior days. A brilliant venue with friendly, caring staff. They had fun activities for the children and made sure that each child was well looked after throughout the day. Great to see that the kids were able to play with people their own age too. Cloggs_Dalton - I cannot fault this place at all the staff are so friendly and helpful and it's really well organised. My son has joined recently with a Gold membership and he goes every other weekend to play. The staff are great with them and the other players are too. They are often in the adult games and love this just as much as the juniors. Overall great set up and a lovely hobby for them to have rather than hanging round doing nothing or playing their xbox. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Haxter89 - Going as part of a trip for our school secondary school in West Bromwich (first time offered as an end of year trip) we could not have asked for anything better.
Staff - amazing down to the last detail very helpful professional and considerate of the students, always willing to help and go the extra mile.
Zones/game modes - again an amazing locations with some of the best zones i and many of the students who have been to others had seen and played, clean and well presented.
Price - to be expected from a top event location that offers so much with expert staff and equipment so well balanced.
Overall we had an adrenaline fuelled day full of fun, laughter and great competition thank you for hosting this and we are ready to take on the challenge again next year. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Shoooryukenn - I was part of a group of 20/21 and we attended on Saturday 17th. We were in hut Alpha and we had 2 Marshalls, 1 of which was 18 and had been there for about 2/3 years. I didn't get his name but amazing and phenomenal service from him. He definitely knows his target audience and deserves a raise. The other person who shined and was so friendly and lovely and just amazing was Emily Glenn. She helped me out in anything and everything and always done it with a smile
her face and was so bubbly.. she also deserves a raise. These 2 members are assets to the team and if you could please deliver my thanks to them. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lawrence Campbell - It was an excellent day, and we really enjoyed the event, as it was the best paintball experience any of us had ever been on! The markers were kept in good condition, and the upgrades all looked and performed impressively. The environments were varied, large, and good for all out action or a more stealthy approach. The biggest positive for NPF is the amount of kit, and the high standard of the kit that they include within the price. The only downside was that some of the participants were being hit and wouldn't exit the game, but that's not NPF's fault. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I spoke to Kerry a number of times who was absolutely superb sorting everything out etc especially during the current circumstances of covid. The people at each activity were great, especially the guy on our paintball session. Wayne Lewis - NPF is my favourite paintball venue, I go pretty much ever week and the staff and marshals are always friendly, helpful and have a good knowledge of the game. The game zones are great with Hanoi being my favourite. In general NPF is now what i call my home ground and its a site i highly recommend people to play at. I not only give this site a 5 out 5 rating but it should be 10 out of 5, as they always go that extra mile to make sure you have a cracking day of paintball. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
